We are off road enthusiasts who enjoy the great outdoors and the adventure of exploring new places.

Many things make up a great expedition. The preparations and the planning, the camping, the travel, the camaraderie, meeting new friends, challenging trails and seeing new sights around every corner are just a few reasons we enjoy it so much.

We believe that we should be good stewards of the land by following the tenets of Tread Lightly, practicing low impact camping and encouraging others to do the same.

Expedition Partners

We have recently become Expedition Partners in the quest for a cure for ALD.  The President and CEO of Expedition Awareness is Mr. Phil Golden of Wichita Falls, Texas. 

We are grateful we are able to be a part of this organization.   We will be "carrying the banner" for Expedition Awareness during our own expedition.

    Thanks for coming on board as an EA Partner. This is an exciting new program for which you guys are the pioneers.

    Adrenoleukodystrophy is a terminal disease for boys. Raising awareness is our best hope for gaining the attention necessary to focus on new testing and trials here in the US. There is a new treatment being developed in Europe. By raising awareness about the disease, we can improve the chances of getting the necessary parties to take notice and appropriate funding necessary to begin trials in the US.

    Expedition Awareness Partners are dedicated to this prospect by sharing educational material and generally working to spread the awareness message during their own expedition travels.

    On behalf of all the ALD families and especially my son, Brooks... THANK YOU from the very bottom of my heart.
